Directions For Use

Apply to damp, detangled hair, moving throughout section by section, using hands or a curl-defining brush. Do not rinse out, leave to air dry or diffuse. For best results, use after the 2 in 1 Leave In & Curl has been applied to lock in more moisture and definition

Safety

Soft hair

The shampoo and conditioner left my coarse hair very soft.
I used to use Only Curls products but I’m now definitely going to buy yours as the other company’s products didn’t have that effect on my hair.

Not for me

I very much like the '2 in 1 Leave in & Curl Cream' but the Curl Custard doesn't seem to add anything for me, either on its own or after having applied the Curl Cream. I haven't tried it a lot of times but, each time that I have used it, it seems to make the curls less curly. My hair is only gently wavy/curly and I suspect that it needs a lighter touch. I imagine that the Custard would work much better on seriously curly hair.

Feeling positive

I started using clean curls a couple of months ago as I wanted to use natural products to help make my hair stronger and healthier. After the first use I liked the way my hair felt and as my hair is naturally curly finding a product that holds the curls without weighing that down or leaving them sticky has been difficult. I find that the super shine and define custard works well and leaves the curls shinier and defined without weight and the fact it is free from harmful ingredients makes it so much better.

Great but needs to be in a tub

Bought for use on my son’s curly hair and now use it on mine too. We love it. But it’s thick so would be better in a tub - it’s hard to get the last bits out not to waste any!

Lovely Curls

Since I’ve used your shampoo and conditioner I noticed my hair being curlier than before when I used your competitors (Only Curls) products. I’m very happy. I like your packaging and big letters used to denote what’s in the bottle. Those bottles are great for use at home.
However, I’d like you to produce 100 ml size bottles for travel and packing in hand luggage.

Game changing haircare

I used to be a hairdresser and curl specialist, now I’m a nutritional therapist so finding a curly hair product that works on my very long 3B-C curls AND is low-tox is extremely important to me. I bought the bundle as it was an affordable way to try the range and I have been so impressed by the results.
I definitely find that doing two shampoos makes my hair feel the right level of clean and the conditioner is great for detangling from the tips up to the roots.
The leave in is hydrating and not greasy but the Curl Custard is the biggest revelation for me. I used to be a leave-in + gel girlie and that was my method for the past 15 years since embracing my curls. But the curl custard not only defines but also makes my hair feel so soft and hydrated. I followed with a tiny drop of the oil to gently break the cast. The real proof of it working was by day 3 after washing my hair still felt soft, the curls were still defined and it wasn’t a tangled birds nest. I had also been caught in the rain and wind. I sleep with it in a loose topknot, I don’t even use a bonnet or silk pillowcase because since having kids all of that has gone out of the window, so to have results like this without those things is just amazing. My scalp is less flaky and dry too.
I’m super happy with the range and I’m telling all my friends about it.
