I used to be a hairdresser and curl specialist, now I’m a nutritional therapist so finding a curly hair product that works on my very long 3B-C curls AND is low-tox is extremely important to me. I bought the bundle as it was an affordable way to try the range and I have been so impressed by the results.
I definitely find that doing two shampoos makes my hair feel the right level of clean and the conditioner is great for detangling from the tips up to the roots.
The leave in is hydrating and not greasy but the Curl Custard is the biggest revelation for me. I used to be a leave-in + gel girlie and that was my method for the past 15 years since embracing my curls. But the curl custard not only defines but also makes my hair feel so soft and hydrated. I followed with a tiny drop of the oil to gently break the cast. The real proof of it working was by day 3 after washing my hair still felt soft, the curls were still defined and it wasn’t a tangled birds nest. I had also been caught in the rain and wind. I sleep with it in a loose topknot, I don’t even use a bonnet or silk pillowcase because since having kids all of that has gone out of the window, so to have results like this without those things is just amazing. My scalp is less flaky and dry too.
